Brooke Alexander Acosta is exceptionally knowledgeable in areas of child custody and support. She has practiced in the family law area in various capacities for over four years. She has also had previous experience in collection law and criminal law. Ms. Alexander Acosta is currently a member of the Family Law and Young Lawyer’s Division Sections of the New Mexico State Bar and a board member of the Tax Law Section of the New Mexico State Bar. She is passionate about giving back to her community and has provided several volunteer hours to the Second Judicial District Court in their civil legal clinic and their settlement facilitation days.
Ms. Alexander Acosta graduated from the University of New Mexico in 2011 with her Bachelors in Arts. She graduated from the University of New Mexico School of Law in the Spring of 2015. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Alexander spent four years working in childcare. This experience has enhanced her perspective as an attorney that represents parents with children. She is well versed in how divorce impacts children, and encourages clients to focus on their best interests. Ms. Alexander Acosta possesses solid negotiating skill and enjoys a challenge.
